Corvallis, Oregon
The neighbourhood, as we know it
Our favourite spots after 20+ years of living and hosting here — everything you need to make the most of Corvallis.
A college town with real character
Corvallis is home to Oregon State University and sits in the heart of the Willamette Valley — surrounded by forests, rivers, vineyards, and farmland. It's a town that rewards slow exploration: excellent coffee, a thriving local food scene, miles of riverside trails, and a genuine community feel. We've been here since 2004 and still find new things to love.

A note from Justin
I've been welcoming guests to Brooklane Cottage since 2004 — long before Airbnb existed — and I've watched Corvallis grow into one of Oregon's most genuinely liveable towns. Everything in this guide is somewhere I've been myself and would happily recommend to a friend. If you'd like more personalised suggestions — the best trail for a sunrise, where to find the freshest produce, a quiet spot for a special occasion — just ask. I'm always happy to share what I know.
